Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned that if Nigerians vote for the wrong candidate in 2027, there will be more hardship than has ever been experienced.

Primate Ayodele, in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, said petrol price will skyrocket to N2,500 per litre, diesel to N3,000, amongst other essential commodities, if Nigerians vote wrong candidate in the 2027 elections.

In the midst of the economic hardship that will follow, Primate Ayodele made it known that there will be another terrorist group that will wreak havoc in the country if the wrong candidate emerges.

He stated that the poor will suffer greatly and things will become much worse in the country.

Primate Ayodele said; “If Nigeria votes for the wrong candidate in 2027, petrol will rise to N2,500, and diesel will go to N3,000. There will be economic hardship, and insecurity will increase. Another new terrorist group will come up, and electricity tariffs will rise. WAEC fee will rise to N70,000, and a bag of cement will rise to N18,000 regardless of whatever Dangote does.

“The poor will suffer it greatly, and everything will change. There will be wrong policies, our foreign reserves will go down, corruption will increase”.

The cleric made it known that “Nigerians must be on alert and stop voting for people because of a few cups of rice and some amount of money, because they will pay for the consequences”.

He urged the citizens to watch well before voting for any candidate to prevent another round of hardship that will befall the nation if a wrong candidate emerges.

“Nigerians must open their eyes before voting for any candidate in the forthcoming election. This election will determine a lot, and if care isn’t taken, Nigerians will move into another round of hardship. Don’t just vote for people because of cups of rice and a few thousand. Whatever decision you make determines your life in the next four years. If a wrong candidate emerges, it will be difficult for Nigerians.”

Furthermore, Primate Ayodele made it known that he will let the people know how to identify the best candidate among the contenders, stating that in a few months’ time, he would reveal God’s choice.

“In the coming days, I will reveal God’s choice for Nigerians in the coming election. I will let the people know how to identify the best candidate, but it’s left to them to decide what they want to follow. However, a wrong candidate will bring severe hardship,” he added.
